This document describes available Event Codes that appear in Bopup Messenger and Bopup Observer IM client software and provides advanced details and possible resolutions for each event.

An Event Code is displayed above the program icon in the System Tray area, it is a balloon hint that contains a short description of the event.

Code #125. You are not able to establish a connection because the IM server could not authenticate you. Verify your logon ID and password, if possible, and try again.

Description:
This error appears when Windows Authentication or Private login/password mode is enabled on the IM server. Your authentication failed and the server cannot accept your connection.

Resolution:
Verify that you correctly typed your IM account name and password and try to connect to the communication server again. If the event appears again, contact your system administrator.

Code #126: The communication server is currently busy and cannot accept your request. Try to perform your operation later. If the error persists, contact your system administrator.

Description:
The communication server is currently busy and it cannot perform the requested operation at this time.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again. If the event appears again, contact your system administrator.

Code #127: The timeout of your request to the server expired. Your operation cannot be completed at this time.

Description:
The connection to the server in order to perform the requested operation took a long time and cannot be completed at this time.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again.

Code #129: Internal SQL error occurred on the server. Contact your system administrator.

Description:
An SQL exception occurred on the IM server. It may result from various situations on the server.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again. If the event appears again, contact your system administrator.

Code #130: Secure engine error occurred.

Description:
An internal error occurred in the encryption/decryption module somewhere on the IM server or in the local (client) software.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again. If the event appears again, reinstall your messenger software.

Code #131: Internal error occurred. This error may relate to memory leaks. If the error persists, contact your system administrator.

Description:
Some kind of internal error occurred somewhere on the IM server or in the local (client) software.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again. If the event appears again, contact your system administrator.

Code #132: Cannot connect to the Instant Messaging Server. Verify the server address in the Connection Setup Wizard.

Description:
The messenger cannot establish a connection to the IM server. The server is not found/running/specified. This event code may appear when you start the messenger software for the first time.

Resolution:
Specify the name or address of the IM server via the Connection Setup Wizard and test its availability using the wizard. If the name/address of the server is correct, it is possible that the IM server is not available at the moment. Contact your system administrator.

Code #133: Windows Sockets internal error occurred. Cannot send the request header to the remote client.

Description:
An internal error occurred while the messenger was trying to connect to the IM server to perform the requested operation.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again.

Code #134: Windows Sockets internal error occurred. Cannot receive a response from the remote client.

Description:
An internal error occurred while the messenger was trying to connect to the IM server to perform the requested operation.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again.

Code #135: Your IM protocol version is not supported on the remote client.

Description:
Your request to the remote user is not supported by the user's messaging software. This event also occurs when your version of the IM client software is not compatible with a version of the communication server.

Resolution:
Make sure that you use the latest version of the messenger. Contact your system administrator for resolution.

Code #136: The messenger cannot be started normally. Error occurred while starting the local server to receive instant messages.

Description:
An internal error occurred on the messenger startup.

Resolution:
Restart the messenger. If the event appears again, reinstall the client software.

Code #137: You are not able to establish a connection because the IM server license does not support such number of active connections. Contact your system administrator.

Description:
The server license does not support a large number of active user connections. Your connection cannot be accepted by the IM server because the supported number of active connections is exceeded at the moment.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator.

Code #138: You are not able to establish a connection because the IM server license expired. Contact your system administrator.

Description:
The server license expired and the IM server cannot accept and establish any active connections.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator.

Code #140: Your current IM session is invalid. You have to reconnect the messenger client to be able to send and receive messages.

Description:
Due to some unspecified issues, the IM session established between the IM server and your messenger software is invalid and you cannot perform any requests to the server.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again a little later. If the event appears again, restart the messenger.

Code #141: You are not able to establish a connection because your IM account is not found on the server. Contact your system administrator.

Description:
To be able to establish a connection to the IM server and communicate with other users, you need to have your own IM account on the server. You failed to connect to the server because your IM account was not found in the server database.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator to create your IM account. The administrator may configure the server to permit users to create their own IM accounts on the server from the messenger software.

Code #142: You are not able to establish a connection because your IM account is not found on the server. You may create your own account using the "Tools\My account..." menu.

Description:
To be able to establish a connection to the IM server and communicate with other users, you need to have your own IM account on the server. You failed to connect to the server because your IM account was not found in the server database.

Resolution:
Create your IM account from the messenger via the Create My Account Wizard.

Code #143: You are not able to establish a connection because your IM account is disabled on the server. Contact your system administrator.

Description:
The messenger cannot establish a connection to the IM server because your IM account is disabled on the server. Only users with enabled IM accounts may establish a connection and communicate with others.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator to enable your IM account on the server.

Code #144: You cannot edit your own account information because it is set as read-only on the server.

Description:
You cannot change any details In your IM account from the messenger because the server options do not permit this.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator to enable users to modify their own IM account information.

Code #145: The user is not found on the server. You are not able to send messages and view this user's details.

Description:
The IM server cannot complete the requested operation because the specified remote user account is not found in the server database.

Resolution:
Try to perform your operation again. If the event appears again, restart the messenger. Otherwise contact your system administrator.

Code #146: The recipient's account is disabled. You are not able to send messages and view this user's details.

Description:
The IM server cannot complete the requested operation because the specified remote user account is disabled on the server. You may view user details and send messages only to enabled users.

Resolution:
Restart the messenger. If the event appears again, contact your system administrator.

Code #148: You are not able to establish a connection because your IM account is currently used on another computer. The server options do not permit concurrent connections for the same account. Contact your system administrator.

Description:
The IM server does not accept concurrent connections for the same logon ID and your IM account name is currently used on another computer.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator.

Code #149: Specified account name is found on the server. You cannot create account with the same name. Change your account name or log on with another credentials.

Description:
This event code appears when you are creating a new IM account from your messaging client. The server detected that specified IM account name already exists.

Resolution:
Specify another IM account name to create on the server or log on with your credentials (if you have).

Code #150: The messaging group is not found on the server. You are not able to send messages to this group.

Description:
The messaging group to which you are trying to send a message is not found on the IM server.

Resolution:
Restart the messenger. If the event appears again, contact your system administrator.

Code #151: You are not assigned to the specified messaging group and not able to send messages to this group.

Description:
You have been removed from the messaging group and cannot send messages to it.

Resolution:
Do not try to send messages to that group or restart the messenger.

Code #152: You have no permission to send messages to the specified messaging group due to the Group Policy. Your rights are restricted by administrator.

Description:
You have no permission to send messages to that messaging group. Your rights are restricted on the IM server and your may only receive messages from that group.

Resolution:
Contact your system administrator.

Code #153: The messaging group is currently disabled. You are not able to send messages to this group.

Description:
The messaging group was disabled on the IM server. You are able to send messages only to enabled (active) messaging groups.

Resolution:
Do not try to send messages to that group or restart the messenger.

Code #170: Your Contact List is not organized. Run the My Contact List Wizard from the "Tools\Organize Contact List..." menu to build your contact list.

Description:
This message appears when you start the messenger for the first time. It says that you should organize your contact list from the messenger.

Resolution:
Run the Organize Contact List Wizard to add users to your contacts from those available for your list.

Code #172: There are minor changes in your Contact List because some users have been added or removed on the IM server. Run the My Contact List Wizard from the "Tools\Organize Contact List..." menu to organize your contacts.

Description:
Your contacts were changed and some users were removed from it because those users are not visible to you now or deleted from the IM server permanently.

Resolution:
Run the Organize Contact List Wizard to apply the changes.

Code #173: Your Contact List should be reorganized due to major changes on the IM server regarding your permissions. Run the My Contact List Wizard from the "Tools\Organize Contact List..." menu.

Description:
Permissions to view other users were changed and your previous contacts were deleted on the IM server.

Resolution:
Run the Organize Contact List Wizard to organize the contacts available for your user list.

Code #174: New users are available on the IM server and can be added to your contacts. Run the My Contact List Wizard from the "Tools\Organize Contact List..." menu.

Description:
New users are available on the IM server and you can add them to your contacts.

Resolution:
Run the Organize Contact List Wizard to apply the changes.
